The London Eye was very cool. It's a huge Ferris wheel with capsules that hold 20 people or so, and it takes 30 minutes to go around so you have plenty of time to see the sights. The Ferris wheel never stops, so you get on and off while it creeps along. I took this video so you can see how slowly it moves.

It was really breezing up, as you can see from how I'm wedged in the stern trying to stay upright. We eventually reefed the sails (made them smaller) so it was a little easier going. It is one of the final two that we are considering for him next year, and the visit was very good. The location is absolutely beautiful, in a valley with beautiful mountain vistas, and the school seems to be a good fit for Steve. Once in fifth and sixth grade, and then again in high school. He had really, really bad teeth, but no more! Finally, the ordeal is all over, and he's pretty happy about that, as you can see. We also brought the boat down from storage. It was an interesting trip, because the weather wasn't great.
